How can you offer much lower prices than other photography services?

We offer "semi-professional" photography services. Our services are geared towards budget minded clients that cannot tell much difference between our work and the work of full professionals. We believe you cannot tell the difference, you should not pay the difference. In addition, most full time professionals have a lot more overhead that ultimately is reflected in their prices. Since our photographers have normal "day jobs" and provide their photography service on the side (moonlighting), we do not have the same overhead as professionals.

What type of services do you provide?

Do you provide secondary or backup photographer services?

Yes. We can provide photographers to backup your main event photographer. We assist the primary photographer in any way possible to ensure you are delighted with our results. We normally will provide RAW or digital negatives to the primary photographer and allow them to be responsible for any prints. We also provide digital negatives to our client. Do you provide wedding albums, prints, and other "traditional" services?

We provide the most commonly requested services for the digital era -- which revolve around the digital photographs. We can provide printing services (professional online service) at an additional cost. However, most couples these days seem to prefer a CD or DVD of their images and the online gallery with integration with the most common consumer photo printers. What if I'm not a good fit for your services?

We still recommend contacting us, we are involved with the wedding services industry in our area and can make recommendations on which professionals or companies to hire -- including professional photographers. We have a page that can help you choose a professional photographer.

Should professional photographers be concerned with SEMIPRO undercutting their products and services?

Our services are not intended to undercut or really compete with most services provided by professional photographers. Many budget minded couples would like to use professional services but simply cannot afford to do so. Instead of leaving them in the dark, we provide a much needed services for budget minded couples. We are probably the greatest threat to "semi-professions" claiming to be professionals.

Are you able to match other "low end" photographers?

We do not consider ourselves "low end" photographers, but rather "semi-professional" photographers. We aim to balance the high cost associated with exceptional quality delivered by most professionals with the high risk of the "low end" range. Our goal is provide good quality at a reasonable price that provides an exceptional value.

Why do you shoot in all digital format?

Speed, quality, flexibility, simplicity and cost. With digital photography, we are able to turn around your photographs in days instead of months. Also, quality is normally better than standard 35mm film and we are able to tweak photographs with greater control than film. Since most photos don't need to be printed, we can deliver a set of CDs or DVDs and allow you to pick and choose what makes it to the printers. Since our cost to capture images is reduced greatly, we can capture an unlimited number of photographs (limited only by time) without incurring significant extra cost.
